The last Service-Learning Interest Group meeting of the academic year is 2-3:30 p.m. April 23 in the Center for Teaching and Learning’s North Conference Room.
For the first half of the program, Verdale Thompson of the 2010 U.S. Census will discuss getting involved in the upcoming census. Then, Ann Crowther and Trish Kalivoda will lead a discussion on the background of the National Survey of Student Engagement Conversation, UGA’s most recent NSSE results and implications for service-learning.
This group is open to all faculty, staff, students and community members. It provides a forum for discussing strategies for engaged teaching, learning and scholarship.
