Works by Elizabeth Owen, a master’s student in drawing and painting from Tupelo, Miss., will be on display in Gallery 101 of the Lamar Dodd School of Art until Aug. 5. Owen’s hand-cut triangular pieces of carpet padding, insulation and soft pastel tones (above) create quilt-like geometric patterns. Owen has been working on pieces for this exhibition since May. She will graduate in August and this is her final project.
