Athens, Ga. – The department of pharmaceutical and biomedical sciences in the University of Georgia College of Pharmacy will hold the first lecture of the Chu Lectureship Series on March 28 at 11 a.m. in room 201 of the pharmacy south building.
Jack Secrist, president and CEO of Southern Research, will speak on “Nucleosides: A Fertile Field for Drug Discovery.” The lecture is free and open to the public.
The Chu Lectureship was established to bring nationally and internationally recognized leaders in drug discovery to UGA and to honor the accomplishments and contributions of Distinguished Research Professor David Chu in the UGA College of Pharmacy’s department of pharmaceutical and biomedical sciences.
