CURE at UGA will hold its fourth annual Spring Shag April 11 at 7:30 p.m.
The event, which will include food, live music and dancing, will run until 11 p.m. and take place on Herty Field.
Tickets for the Spring Shag are $10, or $15 for two. They can be purchased online at www.cureatuga.org or at the door.
CURE at UGA is a group dedicated to raising funds and awareness for children in developing nations who have curable diseases, but cannot afford necessary surgery.
During the Spring Shag, CURE at UGA is teaming with TOMs at UGA to create more awareness of the children who benefit from the proceeds of the fundraiser.
“This year, our goal is to raise enough money at Spring Shag so that four children can have surgeries,” said Anna Graham, executive director of CURE at UGA. “One fun night of music and dancing at Spring Shag can help provide so much good to children in need.”
