State of Technology address set for Nov. 20

Students, faculty, staff and campus technical personnel are invited to attend presentation

Information technology has proven to be critical to the university’s ability to continue its teaching, research and service missions.

As a part of Enterprise Information Technology Services’ continued efforts to evolve and improve services, Timothy M. Chester, vice president for information technology, will give the annual State of Technology at UGA presentation on Nov. 20 at 1:30 p.m.

This year’s event will be held virtually via a Team’s webinar.

All students, faculty, staff and campus technical personnel are welcome to attend this presentation and ask questions about technology services at the university.

Topics in the presentation will include updates on the IT Strategic Plan, technology trends and initiatives at the university, and results of the 2024 TechQual+ survey distributed to UGA students, faculty and staff.
