Lynne Billard, a professor in the statistics department of the Franklin College of Arts and Sciences, is the recipient of the 2013 Florence Nightingale David Award from the Committee of Presidents of Statistical Societies.
Established in 2001 and jointly sponsored by the Caucus for Women in Statistics, the award recognizes every two years a female statistician who exemplifies David’s contributions to education, science and public service.
