Stan Gatewood, chief information security officer, was featured-along with UGA’s Founders Garden-on the cover of CSO magazine. In a feature-length article discussing the five steps to an effective strategic plan, Gatewood was quoted about the reasons chief security officers might not but should bother with strategic planning. “If you have no plan, how will you know if you’re doing it right?” he asks. “You will be reacting to every little bump in the night.”
