Innovation Bootcamp is a free opportunity for faculty, graduate students and Athens Clarke-County community members to learn the basics of entrepreneurship.
Considered an on-ramp to entrepreneurship, bootcamps help participants develop their “why” statement, marketing and branding, pitching, leadership skills and more. Each week, the aspiring entrepreneurs learn from keynote speakers, participate in workshops and meet with mentors from the Startups program.
The hospitality and tourism industry is Georgia’s second-largest economic contributor and employs more than 400,000 residents. Athens is a hub for food and beverage, travel and tourism, events and more. Join UGA’s Innovation Gateway this fall for Innovation Bootcamp, sponsored by Truist, to learn how to create a successful business in Georgia’s hospitality and tourism industry.
Sessions begin Sept. 18. For applications and more information on sessions, visit https://research.uga.edu/gateway/innovation-bootcamp/upcoming-cohorts/.
