Athens, Ga. – The University Union Student Programming Board at the University of Georgia has announced the fall semester movie schedule for the Tate Student Center Theatre.
Films, dates and times are as follows:
• “Dead Poets Society” (1989), Thursday, Aug. 21 at 8 p.m.
• “Captain America: Winter Soldier” (2014), Friday-Sunday, Aug. 22-24 at 3, 6 and 9 p.m.
• “Animal House” (1978), Thursday, Aug. 28 at 8 p.m.
• “Neighbors” (2014), Friday, Aug. 29 at 3, 6 and 9 p.m.
• “Rushmore” (1998), Thursday, Sept. 4 at 8 p.m.
• “Grand Budapest Hotel” (2014), Friday-Sunday, Sept. 5-7 at 3, 6 and 9 p.m.
• “Black Dynamite” (2009), Thursday, Sept. 11 at 8 p.m.
• “Godzilla” (2014), Friday-Sunday, Sept. 12-14 at 8 p.m.
• “Schindler’s List” (1993), Thursday, Sept. 18 at 8 p.m.
• “X-Men: Days of Future Past” (2014), Friday and Sunday, Sept. 19 and 21 at 3, 6, and 9 p.m.

• “Rocky Horror Picture Show” (1975), Thursday-Sunday, Oct. 16-19, 3 6 and 9 p.m. (9 p.m. shows will include a live on-stage performance)
• Horror movies from the past four decades, Thursday-Sunday, Oct. 23-26, times TBA
• “The Birds” (1963), Thursday, Nov. 6 at 8 p.m.
• “North by Northwest” (1959), Friday, Nov. 7 at 3, 6 and 9 p.m.
• “Rear Window” (1954), Saturday, Nov. 8 at 3, 6 and 9 p.m.
• “Vertigo” (1958), Sunday, Nov. 9 at 3, 6 and 9 p.m.
Availability for more recent films is subject to change. Any updates will be listed on the University Union website, http://union.uga.edu.
Admission to all films is $2 or $1 for students with valid UGACards who pay activity fees on the Athens campus. Admission to the Rocky Horror Picture Show’s 9 p.m. live performances is $3 or $1 for students. There are no films shown on home football game Saturdays.
Films are chosen by students who serve on the executive board of Union’s Cinematic Arts Division.
