In an article about the federal government’s building evidence against proprietors of a plant in Blakely that shipped salmonella-tainted foods, the Associated Press quoted Michael Doyle, director of the Center for Food Safety at UGA.
“I am no attorney,” said Doyle. “But the evidence appears to be a smoking gun. It appears that Mr. Parnell knowingly ordered shipment of salmonella-contaminated product.”
