Theodore K. Miller, a professor emeritus in the College of Education and a pioneer in the field of university student affairs, services and development, has been recognized with a national award named in his honor.
The Ted K. Miller Achievement of Excellence Award, presented for the first time this year to the University of North Texas, is the highest honor bestowed by the Council for the Advancement of Standards in Higher Education. It recognizes outstanding accomplishments in advancing standards of practice and quality assurance in educational programs and services in higher education with the goal of enhancing student learning and development.
