Three UGA student-athletes have been awarded NCAA Post-Graduate Scholarships. Gymnast Grace Taylor of Aiken, S.C.; swimmer Lisa Caprioglio of Highlands Ranch, Col.; and swimmer Hunter Lainhart of Jupiter, Fla., each have been awarded the $7,500 post-graduate scholarship award.
UGA is one of only four institutions nationwide to have as many as three NCAA Postgraduate Scholars this year. The others are Emory, Stanford and Gustavus Adolphus.
Taylor has a 3.97 grade point average majoring in health promotion. She plans to pursue a master’s degree in public health or nursing.
Caprioglio has earned a 4.0 grade point average with a double major of international business and marketing.
Lainhart recorded a 3.66 grade point average with a double major in finance and economics.
