Tim Smolko, library associate I in cataloging, was awarded the 2010 Pauline Shaw Bayne Travel Grant to attend the annual meeting of the Southeast chapter of the Music Library Association in Columbia, S.C., this month.
SEMLA accepts applications annually for the award, which may be made to students, recent graduates, music librarians in their first two years of their careers or paraprofessionals who work with music materials as a significant part of their responsibilities. It helps to fund meeting-related expenses.
