UGA President Michael F. Adams has allocated $200,000 from the President’s Venture Fund to support mission-critical faculty and staff travel in the 2009 fiscal year. These funds have been transferred to the Provost’s Office for distribution.
To apply for funding, individuals should submit to the appropriate dean, director, or other unit head a completed travel authority (hard paper copy), estimating expenses, describing in a brief paragraph the nature of the travel and providing justification of the importance to the individual’s own work and/or to the university’s advancement.
