Nebraska now offers tuition break to children of immigrants

Children of undocumented immigrants now are officially able to pay in-state tuition to attend colleges and universities in Nebraska, the Daily Nebraskan, the University of Nebraska’s college newspaper reported.

To qualify for the tuition break, students must maintain eligibility requirements. The vice chancellor for student affairs at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln said he had not heard of any undocumented immigrants who also were eligible students enrolling this semester, but that he thinks some will enroll soon.
