Fundraisers at U.C.-Irvine’s School of Law plan to raise $6 million to provide full scholarships to every member of its inaugural class, the Chronicle of Higher Education reported. Each student in the 60-member class, which is due to enroll next August, should receive about $100,000 to cover tuition over three years. The move comes as a change from the school’s initial plan to offer full rides to only half its students. Administrators said they are confident in the school’s ability to raise the money.
