The University of Phoenix has partnered with the Thurgood Marshall College Fund—a major fundraising and membership organization that supports black colleges to improve graduation rates and increase enrollment.
The partnership aims to help students at historically black colleges complete their degree on time and give them access to technology, such as online courses.
The University of Phoenix is in the process of working on an agreement to offer some of its courses free to students at any of the nation’s 104 historically black colleges.
For every student who signs up, the university has agreed to make a donation to the Thurgood Marshall College Fund for future scholarships.
