UGA alumnus John F. Tanner has been named associate dean for research and faculty development at Baylor University. Tanner, who earned a doctoral degree in business administration from UGA in 1988, focuses his research on the use of marketing to promote social agendas and traditional sales research. As associate dean, Tanner will lead faculty development programs, student research initiatives, and community extension programs, while continuing to lecture in the marketing department.
