Athens, Ga. – The University of Georgia, in conjunction with the Marketing Research Institute International, has added an industry trends component to Principles of Marketing Research, the first and most popular self-study, online certificate program for market researchers.

“The new trends material is the result of a six-month process in which we systematically polled industry experts on what are our most significant trends and challenges,” said Don Marek, executive director of MRII.

The trends component of the course curriculum focuses on emerging technologies, evolving data collection methods and structural changes in the market research industry.

More than 6,500 participants across 96 countries have enrolled in Principles of Marketing Research since 1996. The certificate program is supported by virtually all the marketing and marketing research associations around the world.
