From 1941-1943, campus life at UGA was documented by the photographs of the late Henry Wallace Richter, a staff photographer for both the Red and Black student newspaper and the Pandora yearbook.
Now, thanks to a Web site maintained by the Hargrett Rare Book and Manuscript Library, his work can be seen again.
Richter’s precise labelling and record keeping means most photographs contain the name of the subject, the date and its intended publication.
