Athens, Ga. – The University of Georgia is offering a free Web-based survey tool for students, faculty and staff to design, implement and evaluate survey results.
Qualtrics makes it possible for students, faculty and staff to create their own UGA-branded surveys, invite participants and review results. Users can choose from a library with more than 80 question types, remind participants to take a survey and view reports in a variety of formats. Qualtrics surveys may be used for class projects, polling members of an organization for their opinions or learning how staff members in a department are adjusting to a new program, for example.
Surveys may be posted online or kept private among select recipients, who don’t have to be affiliated with the university.
To request a Qualtrics account, students and UGA departments without IT staff may contact the EITS help desk. Faculty and staff should contact their departmental IT staff.
The UGA-branded Qualtrics account can be accessed at https://ugeorgia.qualtrics.com/ControlPanel/.
UGA’s campus-wide license for Qualtrics is due to a partnership with the vice president for information technology and a number of units on campus.
Training videos are available at http://www.qualtrics.com/university/researchsuite/.
