Athens, Ga. – University of Georgia pharmacy students will conduct health screenings for residents of Rocksprings and Pinewoods communities this month. The students will offer information on pediatric care, women’s health, diabetes and weight management.
The Rocksprings health fair will be held on Monday, April 9, 2 – 4 p.m. at The Light Church. The Pinewoods health fair will be held Wednesday, April 18, 5 – 7 p.m. in the library.
The students are members of an elective class on community care and outreach under the direction of Chris Cook, a clinical assistant professor.
