Athens, Ga. – The University of Georgia has awarded the UGA Alumni Association Endowed Scholarship to incoming freshman Renalda Shana Batts, a Westside High School graduate from Augusta. She is the daughter of the late Ms. Ola Lee Mack.
This new scholarship, supported by the UGA Alumni Association, recognizes one academically outstanding student who demonstrates financial need. The award provides $5,000 per year in addition to the HOPE Scholarship. The award can be renewed for an additional three years of undergraduate study if the recipient maintains certain academic standards.
