The University’s Woman’s Club will meet March 9 at 10 a.m. in the Fellowship Hall of Central Presbyterian Church, 380 Alps Road.
Chantel Dunham, the director of development for the UGA Libraries, will speak on “Treasures from the UGA Libraries.”
Dunham will discuss the libraries’ varied special collections, including colonial and Confederate-era items and the Civil War Collection in the Hargrett Rare Book and Manuscript Library. She also will talk about the Richard B. Russell Library, the Walter J. Brown Media Archives, the Peabody Awards Collection and how to access these materials electronically.
