The University Woman’s Club will meet Jan. 14 at 10 a.m. in Fellowship Hall of Central Presbyterian Church, 380 Alps Road. Ian Hardin will share the history of tartans and explain how they are designed, named and registered. He also will discuss how UGA came to have its own tartan, how it is produced and marketed as well as how the proceeds are used.
