Each department should download and print the 2010 fiscal year liability insurance card for its state vehicles. To reduce administrative costs, DOAS Risk Management will no longer print and distribute these insurance cards. The liability insurance card should be placed in all state vehicles, and employees who use personal or rental vehicles for official state business should also keep the cards in their vehicles.
The liability insurance cards can be accessed through the DOAS Risk Management Web site, http://www.doas.georgia.gov/StateLocal/Risk/Pages/ RiskInsurance.aspx.
All accidents involving state vehicles or state employees operating personal or rental vehicles while on official state business must be reported within
