William Vencill, professor of crop and soil sciences, was named an outstanding reviewer of academic journals by the Weed Science Society of America at the group’s annual meeting in Chicago.
Vencill was honored for his work outside the classroom and in crop fields. The Weed Science Society of America is a nonprofit professional society that promotes research, education and extension outreach activities related to weeds.
