The Nutrition and Skeletal Health Lab is seeking research volunteers to participate in a research study exploring bone metabolism and hormonal differences between people with and without cystic fibrosis.
This study will help inform future studies aimed at preventing fracture and osteoporosis in a vulnerable clinical population. This research study is open to 18- to 33-year-old males and females who are generally healthy and includes a five-hour study visit to the Nutrition and Skeletal Health Lab at UGA.
Pregnant females are excluded from this study.
Participants will receive a $100 check mailed to their home two to six weeks after the visit.
Those who are interested in participating or have questions should email NASH-lab@uga.edu.
