VP for development and alumni relations finalists to visit campus

Two finalists have been named for the position of vice president for development and alumni relations at UGA. As part of their final interviews, each candidate will visit campus to meet with members of the UGA community and make a public presentation from 9:30- 10:30 a.m. in the Reception Hall of the Tate Student Center.

The finalists, their titles and the dates of their campus presentations are:

• Kelly Kerner, who has been senior vice president for development and alumni relations and secretary of the college at Bowdoin College in Brunswick, Maine, March 27; and

• Kenneth E. Sigmon Jr., who has been vice president of development for the Oklahoma State University Foundation, March 31.

The candidates’ résumés are online at http://vpdarsearch.uga.edu/.

“The committee was very pleased with the number of extraordinary applicants who were interested in this position,” said J. Griffin Doyle, vice president for government relations and chair of the search committee. “We eagerly await the upcoming campus visits, when our two finalists will share their respective visions with the broader UGA community.”

The next vice president for development and alumni relations will succeed Tom Landrum, who is retiring June 30 after nearly 40 years of service to the university.
