The Saint Vincent de Paul Society at UGA, a new student organization, will participate in the third annual national Friends of the Poor Walk Sept. 25 at 9:30 a.m. at Memorial Park, 293 Gran Ellen Drive. Faculty and staff interested in the one-mile walk can sign-up or make a pledge to a current walker online at www.svdpfriendsofthepoorwalk.org.
