The American Forest Foundation named Dale Greene, dean of UGA’s Warnell School of Forestry and Natural Resources, a board of trustee member.
With more than 30 years of experience at UGA, Greene has been a leader in creating long-lasting collaborations with partners in both the private and nonprofit sectors. He continues to conduct research on methods to improve timber harvesting to reduce environmental impact and was recently honored by the Georgia Forestry Association for his service.
The American Forest Foundation works with families, teachers and elected officials to promote stewardship and protect the values provided by the nation’s forest heritage.
