UGA faculty, staff and students looking for volunteer opportunities to serve the community or to recruit volunteers for service events have a resource to get plugged in at Volunteer Connect.
The electronic database provides volunteer recruitment for more than 100 agencies for events like the 2013 Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service on Jan. 21. Faculty and staff who register for a Volunteer Connect profile can use the site to publicize service events and to manage volunteer hours and sign-ups for internal purposes.
