William A. Mann, professor emeritus at the College of Environment and Design, was inducted into the Council of Fellows for the American Society of Landscape Architects at the organization’s annual meeting this month.
The ASLA Council of Fellows is comprised of highly regarded practitioners in landscape architecture. Fellows must be recognized by their peers for “extraordinary work, leadership, knowledge and service to the profession over a sustained period of time to be selected,” according to its Web site.
Mann has published two books on landscape architecture that ASLA describes as “standard references.” Mann is one of only 33 landscape architects nationwide to be named a Fellow this year.
