Anisa Zvonkovic, dean of the College of Family and Consumer Sciences, will be a panelist at the Faculty Women of Color in the Academy (FWCA) Conference, held April 20-23 in Arlington, Virginia.
Zvonkovic will serve on the four-person FWCA Signature Leadership Panel at the conference along with participants from Hollins University, the University of Minnesota and Colorado State University.
FWCA annually hosts women of color who are faculty, administrators, postdoc scholars and graduate students from across the country representing all academic disciplines.
Zvonkovic’s area of scholarly research concerned how people navigate paid work and personal life.
In addition to an extensive record of federal funding for her research, she has been the president of the National Council on Family Relations and the Groves Conference on Marriage and Family and received the NCFR Alexis J. Walker Award for Lifetime Achievement in 2020.
She was named dean of FACS in 2022.
