UGA student-athletes to collect for hurricane relief fund inside stadium at Saturday’s UGA-South Car

Athens, Ga. – The University of Georgia and the UGA Athletic Association will conduct a coordinated collection for hurricane relief in connection with the Georgia-South Carolina football game on Saturday, Sept. 10, at Sanford Stadium.

UGA students and student-athletes will be asking for donations inside each ticket gate. Each person who enters the gates Saturday is being encouraged to give generously. For security purposes and to avoid confusion, all collections will be just inside the stadium gates. No donations will be solicited outside the gates.

Checks will be accepted payable to the “UGA Katrina Relief Fund.” Individual contributions also may be made at the Tate Center business office, where debit and credit cards are accepted.
