UGA College of Education hosts Fall Fling: Focus on Diversity

Athens, Ga. – The Dean’s Council on Diversity in the University of Georgia College of Education will host the third annual Fall Fling:Focus on Diversity event on Wednesday, Sept. 20 from 3:30-5 p.m. on the Aderhold Hall lawn.

The event, which draws about 250 faculty members each year from not only the College of Education but from across UGA’s campus, provides resources on diversity as well as an opportunity to meet colleagues eager to increase UGA’s diversity efforts.

There will be refreshments and a variety of entertainment, including salsa demonstrations and music from the folk band, Without Pearls, featuring COE faculty members Bob Fecho, Janette Hill and Lew Allen.There also will be door prizes and complimentary Focus on Diversity insulated drink holders.
