The Performing Arts Center will present Colin Mochrie and Brad Sherwood, stars of the Emmy-nominated series Whose Line Is It Anyway?, in an evening of improvisational comedy at the Classic Center Theatre Nov. 7 at 8 p.m.

Tickets are $29-$45 and can be purchased at the UGA Performing Arts Center box office, online at pac.uga.edu or by calling 706-542-4400. They also can be purchased at the Classic Center box office, online at www.ClassicCenter.com or by calling 706-357-4444.

The show, which the comedians have titled Two Man Group, is a special collaboration between the Performing Arts Center and the Classic Center.

Using their quick wit, Mochrie and Sherwood will take contributions from the audience to create original scenes in Two Man Group. Throughout the evening, the show will become truly interactive as audience members are called to the stage to participate in the fun.

ABC’s Whose Line Is It Anyway? ran for eight seasons and starred both Mochrie and Sherwood. A new season of the show, featuring Mochrie, premiered July 16 on the CW network.

Mochrie’s first appearance on the British version of Whose Line Is It Anyway? was in 1991. His role on the American Whose Line got off to a rocky start when ABC wanted to drop Mochrie because the network thought the comedian looked too old and not hip enough. Those involved in the show held their ground, and ABC saw that talent and creativity were more important than “hip.” The fans agreed, making Mochrie a popular mainstay on the American Whose Line stage.

Sherwood was a regular cast member on ABC’s Whose Line Is It Anyway?, and he was also a regular on the British version that aired on Comedy Central. His credits include The Drew Carey Show, The Green Screen Show, more than 100 appearances on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, numerous appearances on VH-1’s I Love the ’80s and I Love the ’90s, as well as guest hosting Talk Soup.

Two Man Group is part of the Spotlight on the Arts at UGA, a nine-day celebration of the arts.
