The UGA chapter of the American Association of University Professors will meet at 3:30 p.m. on Oct. 18 in room 137 of the Tate Student Center.
The AAUP advocates on many issues of importance to faculty, such as salary equity, faculty governance, childcare and maternity leave, the ethical treatment of temporary faculty, and especially academic freedom. The AAUP is the voice of the faculty on these and other matters. For the chapter to continue its mission on campus, good attendance at this meeting is critical.
