Alumnus named president of Fisk University, to start tenure July 1

UGA alumnus Kevin D. Rome Sr. was named president of Fisk University in Nashville, Tennessee, according to a press release from the university.

Rome, who received a master’s degree in education from UGA, is currently president of Lincoln University in Jefferson City, Missouri. He will become Fisk’s 16th president when he begins his tenure July 1.
