The Biomedical and Health Sciences Institute is seeking applicants for the 2013 ARCS Foundation Awards for doctoral candidates in the biomedical and health sciences. The deadline for application submissions is July 5.
These awards, in the amount of $7,500 each, will be granted during the 2013-2014 academic year as a supplement to any assistantship from UGA. Award recipients who maintain their academic standing are funded each year through the completion of their doctoral degrees. This year, an additional $10,000 Global Impact Award also will be awarded to one scholar whose research does or will have an international effect.
