Associate provost elected secretary of GADOHE

Michelle Garfield Cook, associate provost and chief diversity officer, was elected inaugural secretary of the Georgia Association of Diversity Officers in Higher Education. She is serving a one-year term.

GADOHE’s mission is to provide leadership and advocacy for inclusive excellence, to offer a forum for the exchange of ideas and professional development for higher education diversity officers and to promote research and evidenced based policies, programs and solutions to issues of diversity, equity and inclusion in higher education.
