The Georgia Department of Administrative Services Risk Management Office has developed an auto coverage and safety training video that all state employees should view, whether or not they drive a state vehicle.
The video explains when employees are and are not insured. Available online (www.doas.georgia.gov), the video lasts about 15 minutes. Click “Risk Management Services,” then click “Auto Liability Safety Video” and when done complete the acknowledgement form verifying you have seen the video.
The goal is to have this video viewed by all 125,000 state of Georgia employees, and agency participation in this training exercise will be reviewed by the Governor’s Office.
