Individuals and organizations from throughout the state are encouraged to submit nominations for the 2004 Georgia Excellence in Public Service Awards, coordinated by the Carl Vinson Institute of Government at UGA. Awards are presented to state, regional, county and city officials and professionals. Complete nomination applications are due at the Vinson Institute no later than April 15, with the winner announced at a public ceremony in early September in Atlanta.
