A class entitled “Initiating Bi-Lateral Cooperative Agreements” will be offered Aug. 26 from 9 a.m.-noon at the Training and Development Center.
Taught by Jane Gatewood, associate director of the Office of International Education, the class seeks to demystify the process of developing and initiating international cooperative agreements at UGA by providing a rubric for the process.
It will outline the institutional procedures for formalizing such agreements and will provide tips for negotiating and developing successful, mutually beneficial partnerships with institutions overseas.
Faculty members interested in developing and/or renewing international agreements and staff members who assist faculty in the process are invited to attend.
