U.S. Latinization: Education and the New Latino South was co-edited by Spencer Salas, an associate professor of middle, secondary and K-12 education at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. It offers new insights addressing the cultural development of the U.S. as a result of increased Latino and Asian immigration.

U.S. Latinization: Education and the New Latino South brings together voices that address the social and geographical nature of achievement and that serve as a methodological resource for educational leaders and policymakers committed to access, equity and educational excellence.
