Boon to boomers

Baby boomer inventors have an advantage in hawking their products, according to an article in the Tampa Tribune. The article on aging entrepreneurs quotes UGA consumer science professor and demographer Doug Bachtel. Advertising is targeting boomers, he says: “It’s the natural progression as this group ages. . . . A huge, disproportionate number of these [boomers] have discretionary income to buy.”
