CAES offers three seminars

The College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences is offering three seminars.

On March 30 at 2:30 p.m., Tony Glenn (USAD-ARS, Athens), will discuss “Fungal Endophytes and Their Secondary Metabolites in Agricultural Systems” via Zoom: https://zoom.us/j/429947652. The seminar is sponsored by the plant pathology department.

On March 31 at 4 p.m., Timothy Chappell, UGA PBGG, will discuss “Saving Olives: How Georgia Can Be a New Home to Europe’s Dying Olive Trees” via Zoom: https://zoom.us/j/925100801. The seminar is sponsored by the Institute of Plant Breeding, Genetics and Genomics.

On April 1 at 3:30 p.m., Sammy Manthi will give his Ph.D. proposal seminar, “Loci, Candidate Genes and Allelic Variation Associated with Fruit Size and Shape in Watermelon” via Zoom: https://zoom.us/j/475320157. The seminar is sponsored by the horticulture department.
