The Honors Program is accepting applications from undergraduate researchers who would like to present their original research and creative works at the 2009 Center for Undergraduate Research Opportunities symposium, which will be held April 6 at the Classic Center.
In conjunction with the symposium, UGA Ph.D. students will offer workshops on writing abstracts and creating poster and oral presentations to prepare students. For more information about the workshops, contact Lara Pacifici, firstname.lastname@example.org, CURO graduate assistant.
Interested students, who must have a minimum 3.4 cumulative GPA, should submit an application, an abstract of no more than 250 words describing the research project and a supporting letter from the sponsoring faculty member by Jan. 19 via the CURO Web site, www.uga.edu/honors/curo.
