Cari Goetcheus and National Park Service

Cari Goetcheus, an associate professor in the College of Environment and Design, received $90,859 from the National Park Service to produce cultural landscape reports and inventories for Fort Sumter National Monument and Cowpens National Battlefield in South Carolina. The sites figure strongly in the American Civil War and Revolutionary War, respectively. The projects will identify critical cultural landscape features and develop landscape preservation recommendations.
