Chester to give 2026 State of IT Address on Feb. 25

Information technology has proven to be critical to the University of Georgia’s commitment to its teaching, research and service missions. 

As a part of continued efforts to evolve and improve services, Timothy M. Chester, vice president for information technology, will give the annual State of Technology at UGA presentation on Feb. 25 at 10 a.m.  

This year’s event will be held virtually via a Team’s webinar. 

All students, faculty, staff and campus technical personnel are welcome to attend this presentation and ask questions about technology services at the university.  

Topics in the presentation will include updates on technology trends and initiatives at the university and results of the TechQual+ survey distributed to UGA students, faculty and staff.
